Beauty for New Year’s

Happy New Year!  Here are a few of my winter photos for you to enjoy.  I took these photographs on or near our property over the course of several years.  I hope you enjoy God’s handiwork and his words in these images.

These little trees are much taller now! Reminds me that time marches on, so use it wisely and humbly.
If my pets can cheer me up with their presence, how much more knowing the Lord is with me?!
Freezing rain transformed my garden into unique sculptures. God loves beauty because he is beautiful.
Moonrise over our place. Just pausing for a few minutes reminds us to turn our thoughts to God.
This beauty is a teenager now. Trusting changes everything.
I want to live each day wisely.
The little girl isn’t little anymore. Background isn’t mine. The truth remains.

Happy New Year my dearest friend since 1969!
I love your photo postings today. Especially the last one to always be joyful and pray🙏which granddaughter is that? All my love to you and Jack.

All my love to you, dear friend! Such a long, precious friendship. Just realized that neither of the little girls in today’s photos are granddaughters. Isn’t that a good verse?! Yes, we should be joyful and pray. I’m joyful that I have a dear friend named Joy! Happy New Year.

The wonders all around us. Keep us watchful and alert. Blessings on those with good cameras to capture them to share with us.

Yes, all of us miss a lot of wonder. That’s a good goal- to be watchful and alert to the beauty God puts around us. Thanks, dear Anita. PS. Many of these images were taken with my phone. But I do cheat a bit by upgrading them in PhotoShop.
