Flowers adorn themselves with crystal jewelry on damp days.

If you aren’t outside on wet days, you can cheat by spritzing flowers with a spray bottle of water.  I didn’t have to cheat on this image.  This is real dew.

Be sure to zoom into the flower so it’s the center of attention without any distractions.

Use tree branches to frame your image.

The foreground interest adds depth which is especially important on foggy days when distances are compressed.

These dark tree trunks anchor the image in contrast
to the foggy blue infinity of the ocean.
